Simple Things

I promised my parents MONTHS ago I would take some close up B&W shots for them to put up in their house (I guess the other grandkids have already given them some like that...LOL). I, of course, forgot about it, then Christmas rolled around. So it was a perfect way to play it off as if I was just waiting to give the pics to them for Christmas...Brilliant, I know!!! :) I love these pics, they are my all time favs of my kids. The simplicity just makes them beautiful!!

The Gangs All Here

I had such a nice time with this family. As a mother myself, it's always so fun to see how each child has a different personality...and that sure was the case here!! They are one loving family and the mother is sure an inspiration. She is a busy, busy woman, but you know she LOVES her family! It was a rainy day and this sweet family bared with me as they were willing to sit on wet cement and everything! :) Thanks gang!

Typical Teen

This "pre-teen" was pretty grumpy about getting his pics made. I had to promise I would be quick and I think his Mom even promised him Taco Bell...ha, gotta love it! :) We got through it and he even enjoyed himself, though he would never admit it! They were a very sweet duo...Thanks mother and son!

The family that started it all...

Almost a year and a half ago the mother of this fun family asked me to take pictures for them. They were my FIRST clients EVER!! You see, I had been taking pictures of my own children for a couple years and never really thought about taking pictures for other people. So when she asked me I was totally suprised and flattered. Holiday Mini Sessions

I've been a little busy lately with these mini sessions and well, LIFE!!!! :) But that is a good thing, right? I hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas. It's gonna be here before we know it! Christmas "Procrastinator" Special

Hi Everyone!!
Welcome to the Holiday Season!! ;) If you are anything like me you tend to procrastinate! So....I am running a "procrastinator" Christmas Special designed to help you get some cute Christmas pictures to put on your cards, mantel, or tree, whichever you prefer! The Special will consist of a 20 minute studio session and I will give you a CD with about 5* pictures on it. I have some fun Christmas decor we can use depending on you or your child's taste and personality. Right now I have 2 dates available, Saturday, Nov. 21st 11am-1pm and Tuesday, Nov. 24 10am-12pm. Sessions will start every twenty minutes so please email me with you desired time (10:00, 10:20, 10:40, etc.). See flyer below for images.

Good Times, Good Times...

This Family is a HOOT!!! If you know this momma than you know about Fun! She is hilarious and one of the most positive people I've met! This was a very relaxing photo shoot for me because they treat you just as family... by the end I felt I could invite myself over for thanksgiving dinner! Thank you to the terrific threesome! :)

Halloween Pictures

A friend of mine suggested I take some pictures of the girls in the Halloween costumes. I thought it was a great idea...why didn't I think of that?? They were my little cheerleading squad with pom poms and all. They loved it!

Cute Little Girls

I just LOVE taking pictures of sisters, I guess b/c I have 2 little girls! ;) It's just so fun to see them interact with each other and these were 2 SWEET little girls. You can tell they really love each other and it was so much fun to capture their moments together!

This beautiful young lady is working toward a higher education. She is in a master program for documentary film making, I am sure I didn't say that right, but you get the drift! ;) Anyway, she needed a head shot for her documentary work and I was happy to do the honors!

A look into the future

I had an enjoyable afternoon with this family, it was like looking into the future for me! They had two little girls the same years apart and personality types as my girls. They were just a couple years older than mine. It was so funny for me to watch them and think that is how they will be in about 2 years or so. I love to follow little kids around and catch their personalities and these 2 sure kept me going! ;) It was fun, thanks C family!

Precious Boys!

This family has the two most precious little boys...and sweet as can be! It was actually a huge pleasure to photograph this family. The mother was actually a sorority sister of mine back in the college days!! We went to school at Troy University in Alabama. Isn't that so crazy that we both live here?? It was so great to see her and spend some time with her family. They are all beautiful, well, I guess her hubby and adorable boys are considered handsome! ;)
