So, I think photographing newborns has become a favorite!! Truth be told, they are a little unpredictable. The tiny little baby totally dictates how the session is gonna go. They are kind of like tiny little diva's...haha! But they are OH so adorable! :) I've learned to LOVE how unpredictable they are. Each newborn TOTALLY has a different personality and I truly enjoy capturing their unique qualities! This handsome little guy is FULL of personality! He was WIDE awake for most of the shoot, which was great b/c he has the most beautiful blue eyes!! Seriously...ADORABLE! :)

1 year portraits ~ Fayetteville Children's Photographer

I took pics for this cute little guy when he was 6 months old. Now he is a big boy and SO adorable! :) I love to watch my clients grow! I have a TON of favorites from this session so I had to post a lot of pictures. I still have a lot more favs, oh well! :) Happy Birthday Westin!!

Lemon Curd

Yeah, well don't worry if you don't know what it is, I didn't either! But It's almost like a custard. I subscribe to the email list for Living Locurto. And the stuff she send out is AMAZING. She's kind of like the modern day Martha Stewart. She actually sends out daily emails with neat things from crafts to recipes from other bloggers. This recipe is from HERE. It is so yummy. Try it out and enjoy!

I actually had to google lemon curd to see what you used it for. You can use it in a lot of different ways. It's kind of like a custard. Put it on toast or a muffin. Make lemon bars or scones with it. Use it as a filling in a cookie or cake. or my personal favorite...eat it straight out of the jar! YUMM!

I made a couple jars on a beautiful day that just screamed lemony goodness. Today the fam and I brought them to a few friends. Fun times!

Well, she's actually 7 months, but whose counting, right? LOL! I had such a good time taking pics of this little girl! She is a total sweetie! And take a look at those BEAUTIFUL eyes...love them!!! She was a good sport too b/c our session was very close to her nap time and she sure hung in there. Her mommy should be proud!

Daddy couldn't make it to this little guys newborn session so we had a little mini session so we could get some spcial shots with the whole family together...priceless! Due to the snow storm, we could get together until he was a couple weeks older. He was still adorable as EVER! I love how parents adore their babies!

I have been participating in an online course called "The Joy of Love" through Willette Designs. They are daily photography assignments with different topics each day. Day 12 was about the Eyes.

This is my picture I submitted for day 12. I LOVE it!!! I love everything about it, I love the reflection of the window in her eyes right down to the cookie sticking out of her mouth. I, of course, had to bribe her with a cookie to get her to look at me. Anyway, I of course had to share it! Hope you love it as much as I do!!
