Jake + Andrea | Wedding | Sacramento Wedding Photographer

The first of the year I was lucky enough to be flown to Sunny Cali to photograph a wedding of an amazing couple with an Ah-mazing love story!!  He went to Mexico on a Mission for his church and met this sweet young lady...just friends!  He then got home, they found each other on FB, messaged each other, started chatting, then skyping and then he soon found himself in Mexico visiting her.  He knew she was the one so he proposed.  What truly makes their story so romantic is what they have sacrificed to be together.  He's worked day and night to save money to get his beautiful fiance to the USA, they've dealt with all the nightmare that comes along with immigration and she packed her life up into 2 suitcases and said goodbye to her family...all for him! :)  Sweet, right?

The main reason I love photographing weddings is because you can really tell when two people are totally in love they way they are...seriously, it's adorably obnoxious!  Just kidding!  You know we all make fun of newlyweds just because we're jealous!  haha!

Anyway, Cali didn't let me down, it was so pretty and sunny out that day.  They were married in the LDS Sacramento California Temple, so I wasn't able to take pics of the ceremony, but I am so excited about all the beautiful pics I got.  They are all such a great family.  Their fun personalities sure came out in all the pics which makes these memories even better! :)

Mini-sessions | Atlanta Family Photographer

Now that it's almost February and all The Christmas cards have been sent out (late or not), I think it's ok to post some of the Holiday Mini-Sessions I had. I had a blast with all these sessions. I honestly have the best clients. I especially love it when they tell me that they've been getting so many compliments on their pictures!! :)

Thanks to you all that gave me 20 minutes to make you look good on your Christmas Cards!  LOL! :)
Now...Happy Valentines Day!!

Jose + Maria | Secret Garden Wedding | Fayetteville, GA Wedding Photographer

During the Summer I had the privileged of taking pics for this lovely couple as there were married at Prime Community Park. There is a perfect little gazebo there that creates a great backdrop for big and small weddings alike.  This particular wedding was an intimate occasion.  Just their son and another family, yet  it was so full of love.  Seriously, these two were all smiles and even tears as they made vows to one another.  It was beautiful! It's because of couples like them that I love wedding photography.

One thing you should know about me is that I love photographing weddings...Shhhh, don't tell my portrait clients, but I L-O-V-E being a part of my clients special day!!  Big or small wedding, It doesn't matter...I simply enjoy learning about their love story and watching 2 people so excited to start their life together!

This wedding was no different!  It was a small intimate wedding at the Prime Community Secret Garden here in Fayetteville.  But these two adore each other and were so happy to finally be united after a whirlwind romance while living on 2 different continents!!  I've met with them since and I'm happy to say that are a happy and adorable newlywed couple!!  I just love the smiles and giggles I get from newlyweds when I show them their images for the first time!  Awesome!

I wish them a long and happy future together!!

Clayton+Ashley ~ Married, Atlanta LDS Temple ~ Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Funny Story...I briefly knew this Bride when I moved to Montgomery, AL almost 10 years ago.  I believed she graduated from high school a year after we moved there.  So here we are years later and they've asked me to take pics on their Wedding Day!  L-O-V-E!!!  What makes the story even better??  They were married in the same LDS Temple that my hubs and I were married in!  Super L-O-V-E!!!

They are really such a sweet couple.  The morning had a few "bumps" in the plans (as most wedding do), but when she finally got to see her groom during the "reveal", the bride was finally able to breath.  So sweet!!!  They were definitely MADE for each other! :)

Their reception was in Alabama, so unfortunately I wasn't there to photograph it, but I have no doubt it was LOVELY.  They were married and immediately moved off to Arizona, but I am so glad I was able to spend a short time with them.  I wish them the very happiest life together!! :)

First look...

First appearance as husband and wife....
