Sisters

These 3 sisters are very important women to me! They are my mother and 2 Aunts. We were lucky enough to attend a family reunion with my Mothers side of the family. I totally knew I was going to HAVE to have a session with these 3 ladies. It wasn't a long one, they pretty much let me take about 5 shots and then they said they were done. You gotta love family! These ladies have been through a lot together and and admire them dearly! I love you! :)

A springtime debut...

This past weekend was beautiful here, so of course we had to go to the park along with the million other people in Fayetteville. Did anyone else go? Seriously, I have never seen them so packed! We went to Wilson park first and then decided that Gully park was a "little" less packed. Anyway we had a grand ole time at the park. We flew kites, played with pinwheel, ate snacks, and of course played in the creek. Cold or not, my kids won't leave that park without getting in the creek.

It was a perfect day to take pics with so many things going on. So I took a couple snapshots and then decided to see what kind of fun effect I could do to them. When I take pics of my clients I try to keep it simple so I had fun with these. Hope you like them!

This beautiful young lady is an aspiring author, well, I guess she IS an author as she already has a book deal. Doesn't that sound like such an incredible feat??? I am sure it is!!! Meet.....

ME!!!!! A wonderful new friend of mine (and fellow photographer) took these pics of me. She informed me that every photographer needs some good head shots to market themselves with. So that is what we did one morning on Dickson! It was a BLAST and I learned so much from meeting with her for just an hour or so!

You see, there is a GREAT story to this! This was our first real meeting. My friend lives in Mountain Home. We met at Silver Dollar City in Branson. We were both in line with our kids for a kiddie ride. She had the coolest camera strap and of course I had to tell her. If you know me at all, then you know I can make BFF's with the cashier at the Grocery store (My Husband like to make fun of me about this talent I have...LOL). She then told me she was a photographer and I told her I was just starting out. She immediately texted me her website and email and told me she would be so happy to help me in any way. This was about 8 months ago, maybe. We've emailed a couple times and we were finally able to meet up and have a Q&A in Fayetteville a week or so ago! She is very talented, knowledgeable, and fun to be around! It was so fun getting to know her and I look forward to working with her some more!! Thanks Anne-Camille!! You did such a Wonderful job!!!

Mardi Gras Fun

My family and I enjoyed a Mardi Gras parade this past weekend! It was a great family fun adventure!! I also took the opportunity at trying out my creative side. Being creative while taking pics for people is a little easier for me than finding creativity in objects. So, I just let my creative juices flow and these are what I came up with...
