Daddy couldn't make it to this little guys newborn session so we had a little mini session so we could get some spcial shots with the whole family together...priceless! Due to the snow storm, we could get together until he was a couple weeks older. He was still adorable as EVER! I love how parents adore their babies!

I have been participating in an online course called "The Joy of Love" through Willette Designs. They are daily photography assignments with different topics each day. Day 12 was about the Eyes.

This is my picture I submitted for day 12. I LOVE it!!! I love everything about it, I love the reflection of the window in her eyes right down to the cookie sticking out of her mouth. I, of course, had to bribe her with a cookie to get her to look at me. Anyway, I of course had to share it! Hope you love it as much as I do!!

These little girls make me HAPPY!!!! We've been snowed in for a couple days. So what better to do than take pics of your growing kids! What have you done during your snow day(s)?

Baby JT~Fayetteville Newborn Photographer

Meet JT!! He is the first born of one of my best and longest friends in this area. I met his mother in college in Troy, AL many moons ago and somehow we both ended up here with our families. Isn't that a fun story?? We had this session the day before the snow storm and since we've been snowed in for 2 days I have had PLENTY of time to edit...even with a baby and two crazy kids!! There are so many that I like, but I just picked a few to share!

The Everyday Occasions

So I have a new years goal this year to take more "everyday" pictures with my good camera. I've always been so scared to tote it around while taking pictures of our everyday life. I have been using just my point and click for such occasions. But, I figure, that's no fun! I spent good money on my camera so I might as well use it. Let's be honest, it takes WAY better pics than my tiny little point and shoot. Also, this will allow be to be more creative and even improve my photography skills! So I'm throwing caution to the wind and busting out my BIG ole professional camera for EVERY occasion! Don't be surprised if you see more of my "everyday" life on this blog!

my latest Muse

Or Muse(s) rather!! I am still on a baby break, but old habits die hard I guess! :) I gotta take pictures of something or someone. So who better than my 3 gorgeous little girls? We are adjusting well around here. I could probably manage to break away from a nursing baby for an hour session every now and again, but the big question is... when would I edit?? That would be an entirely different problem. Ask my pile of unfolded laundry how much time I've been giving it! but give me another month or so and I think I will have my time management under control! Until then please enjoy a random post here and there. Miss you all! :)
